LG’s Android Wear, The LG G Watch R

LG G Watch R

Finally we discovered the rudimentary blemish with just about all wearable technology: It’s usually lovely or a minimum of attention-grabbing to appear at however uncomfortable and even unbecoming to wear.
LG’s Android Wear device, the G Watch R, falls into this entice. It’s a really stunning, I say “manly” watch that perfectly sounds like a chunk on my wrist joint. The band and back of the LG G Watch R. Note the guts rate monitor on the rear.

With its black body, physical second-hand dial and familiar-looking body, it out-watches the enticing nonetheless imperfect Moto 360. Wherever the Moto 360 appearance polished and artistic movement, the LG G Watch R appearance, despite the fabric black end, sort of a child’s version of associate degree adult watch. wherever the Moto 360 back is shiny and curves its edges off from your wrist joint, the LG G Watch R back is a lot of or less flat and sounds like low cost plastic. Wherever the Moto 360 band is supple animal skin from a fashionable Chicago workplace, the LG’s animal skin band is stiff and uncomfortable.
Under the hood, the LG G Watch R usually matches the Moto 360. Each feature 4GB of storage and 512MB of RAM. They every supply a spread of sensors, as well as gyro, measuring instrument and compass. The LG, though, adds a measuring instrument that may be used for measurement step ascent, that’s not inbuilt. The LG G Watch R is water resistant.
The smart watches do dissent on the mainframe facet. Whereas Motorola selected a Texas Instruments OMAP, LG went with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 at 1.2GHz. However that did not produce any noticeable performance discrepancy.

Once you get past the look, you’re confronted with the newest version of Android Wear. The many of used the wearable OS platform, Google’s efforts to create a homogenous look and feel across mobile and wearable platforms. Android Wear is de facto a hybrid of Google currently, Google’s card-based news and notification system, and a sensor-aware readouts and system.

resized_j6YWv2

One of the significant profits of having Gadgets is that it always associate us to the world and what’s going on in it. In spite of the fact that these innovative gadgets have permitted us to interface with information from anyplace we pick, there isn’t a novel conveyance framework for the data they’re conveying. There is a lack of technical items that can likewise twofold as embellishments for anecdotal serial executioners. To operate a gadget, we require a power supply. Without power, Gadgets are not able to utilize. As Electricity supply has been effortlessly accessed at very nearly all over yet our new era needs a versatile method for charging a gadget. The consumerist inclinations of today’s industrialized society make the utilization of devices progressively normal, either by need or side interest. Despite the fact that a hefty portion of our devices is offered profits, they have a tendency to devour a high measure of electrical Energy. This may cause issues for the earth, particularly if the energy utilized by these gadgets is determined from non-renewable sources. In this way, to spare energy, we require a Source of charging a device, which is not difficult to convey and uses renewable wellspring of energy. We’ve seen a few charging gadgets develop as of late that saddle dynamic energy to power cell phones, however this is the first we’ve run over that really utilizes human breath to power a contraption. That being said, that is fortunate in light of the fact that we might soon have the capacity to charge our cell phones and different devices by the renewable wellspring of energy. Technicians designed a cover which utilizes your breath to transform little turbines and believer the air dislodging into energy to charge your telephone. It looking like something out of Star Wars. Ever wish you could charge your iPhone while resembling a complete weirdo?
aire_mask_4
The Aire Mask is an ideal plan by Joao Lammoglia. It changes over your breathes out into energy, according to a wind turbine. The Aire mask is simply an idea as of right now, and it’s not prone to see the light of a nearby Best Buy rack whenever soon. It’ll give your telephone a help excessively on account of a keen new innovation that uses the air from your lungs to charge it. The electronic cover contains minor wind turbines and the energy made is exchanged through an ordinary USB link to your electronic gadget. It may be used inside or outside, while you’re resting, walking, running or really examining a book. Presently going for a run won’t simply help your wellness levels, it’ll give your telephone a support excessively because of a cunning new development that uses the air from your lungs to charge it. Other than saving energy and helping characteristic protecting, it moreover enables physical movement. Its energy is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In spite of the fact that a large portion of our current devices offer profits, they have a tendency to utilize a high measure of electrical energy.
aire_mask_3
The mask is interesting enough to have earned a Red Dot outline grant in the energy classification for its maker, Joao Paulo Lammoglia, however it has some stylish issues that push it in the middle of dreadful and cool. Perhaps it would look less debilitating, on the off chance that it came in shades like hot pink and lime green. In the quest for renewable-energy sources, it bodes well for go full scale and attempt some new ideas–like strapping wind turbines to your mouth. Saddling energy from human exercises and changing it into power is conceivable and is an incredible result.

Wearable by Apple: The iWatch

When every other company in the technical field is taking leaps in the field of wearable technology how could we expect the giant Apple Inc. to stay behind in such a venture. The current CEO of Apple Inc. has taken up his responsibilities quite seriously after the world witnessed the sad demise of Apple founder Steve Jobbs, may be this is the reason why Tim Cook wanted to take the world by the storm. Not only did he plan to release two splendid work of technology iPhone6 and iPhone6 Plus together, he also revealed the Apple iWatch to play on the nerves of crazy Apple fans. Now that was one hell of a marketing strategy which paid off in full. Apple has un-curtained its latest werable gear that is the iWatch.
Apple-Watch-UI
Apple’s Watch is designed to be both fashionable and functional, available in an array of different color and materials with six different types of watch straps that are easily interchangeable. Apple has clearly understood the fact that technology must meet the fashion standards too. Apple Watch collection has stainless steel or space black stainless steel cases combined with a range of metal and leather bands, the Watch Sport collection, which includes anodized aluminum cases in silver or space gray with colorful, durable bands, and the Apple Watch Edition, which includes 18-karat gold cases in yellow or rose with “exquisitely crafted” bands and closures. All of Apple’s Watches can be customized with an array of different digital watch faces to suit different tastes. Each of the watches is available in two separate screen sizes for different sized wrists: 38mm and 42mm, and the watches have a flexible, durable sapphire display. It features a custom iOS UI that offers wrist-worn app action with a press sensitive touch screen, haptic feedback and a special Digital Crown build into the Watch’s winder.
watch-8
When it launches in early 2015, it will be up against the army of Android Wear devices already on the market, which by that time will include the Motorola Moto 360, Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch. Hopefully with the prestige the company holds, this product will not let these rivals let it down. Each Apple Watch is kitted out with a Retina display, which Apple claims is extremely energy efficient, although won’t give exact figures on how long the Watch will last. The device also takes advantage of new pressure-sensing technology and is able to determine the difference between a tap and a press, allowing for a new range of contextually specific controls. A second physical button next to the digital crown lets users tap to bring up a list of contacts and then communicate with friends by sending quick drawings, messages, and animated emoji. It’s also possible to send a heart beat, drawn from the watch’s sensors. Inside the device, there’s a new Taptic Engine that allows users to hear and feel the design of the user interface. According to Apple, users will be able to feel and respond to notifications easily and intuitively through the Taptic Engine. As with the new features coming in iOS 8 and OS X Mavericks, the Apple Watch will let you start reading or doing something on your wrist and then pick it up later on the iPhone.

Sony EyeGlass to Rival Google Glass

Wearable technology is the new fashion statement. So many companies have launched wearable gears like the smart watches, wristbands and we all are well aware of the Google Glass. The tech companies are rivaling neck to neck, to prove their establishment with their new wearable gadgets. Recently with the launch of iPhone 6 and iPhone6 Plus Apple Inc. also introduces its new iWatch. Before this spectacular release Google also came up with its Google Glass. Though Google Glass was a much awaited release but to fade its shimmer Sony has all geared up with its latest release of Smart Eyeglasses. 56458a3e-92d7-4d0a-818d-e925f2b974ce-460x276
Sony’s smart spectacles are similar to Google Glass, the smart specs already on sale. They’re nowhere near as elegant as the wire-frame Google Glass, looking more like a pair of unwieldy 3D glasses than the unobtrusive Glass, and they sit slightly proud of your face — in their current form, the Sony specs are a pair of conspicuous goggles rather than a wearable people won’t notice you’re wearing. The prototype to the device was first seen at CES 2014 and Sony today released the software development kit (SDK) so that developers can create apps for the device when hardware is made available in March next year. The Smart EyeGlass differs from Google Glass in the way it relays information. Sony’s alternative uses a green 8bit monochrome display to relay information on top of the user’s general field of vision. It will act as a secondary output for the wearer’s smartphone. The device needs an Android smartphone and a separate application to sync the mobile phone and can push notifications, display messages and emails, click photos or provide navigation assistance. In terms of hardware the Sony Smart EyeGlass comes with a fitted with a 3 megapixel camera instead of the 5 megapixel camera on Google Glass.
sony-smart-eyeglass
Sony’s suggestions for Smart EyeGlass include showing you a recipe as you cook, keeping your hands free to stir and season, getting rid of the need to turn pages in a recipe book with sauce-enstickened hands. And when you’re out and about it offers you augmented reality, overlaying useful information over the real-world view in front of you. Sensors in the specs can tell which way you’re facing and track the movements of your head so the information in the head-up display corresponds with what you’re actually looking at. The system is linked to your phone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, so the glasses could potentially tie into your contacts and use facial recognition to identify people you meet. There’s a touchpad on the remote and a camera button to fire the camera that’s built into the glasses themselves — but the main reason for the remote is to house the battery, which in this version is too big to wear on your face. You can at least control the glasses by speaking, with apps recognizing your voice commands. But the mic is in the remote. Still, it’s only a prototype. And Sony does say that eventually the glasses will scan your eye movements to scroll through the information on the screen.

Pen Recorder: The Smart Pen

Today, almost every work is done with the help or assistance of modern gadgets. In this modern era, gadgets are a boon for our new generation. We have found a gadget to do almost all the tasks of daily life. Hand operated stone grinders have been replaced by advanced mixing machines, horse driven carts have evolved into automobiles. Even a small device like quill have been replaced by pens. But technology does not stops at this, it ventures more into all the existing gadgets to make them better, more efficient and versatile. Pen Recorder is a device used to convert written text into a digital text. It is one of its kind as it remembers what we write and then help us take it into a hardware as a digitally written material. It sends the text to a Computer/ Laptop with the help of BLUETOOTH. Its appearance is just like a pen and is very easy to carry. It is useful at times when you want to save your written material as a soft copy. It comprises of the following components, namely, USB DISK
BLUETOOTH BUTTON
LASER LOCATOR
REFILLER
1-2
The USB DISK stores the data recorded by the pen and can be used to transfer data to computers manually without the use of Bluetooth.
BLUETOOTH BUTTON enables you to switch on or switch off the Bluetooth of the pen. When the Bluetooth is switched on, it can be recognized by a nearby Bluetooth peer. Once detected you can transfer data from the pen to the hardware and delete it from the pen using USB DISK.
LASER LOCATOR is the main component of the pen as it smartly locates the words written on a piece of paper and encodes them in digital form. It locates the boundaries of the letters and senses the letters. The only requirement for detection is that the written material must be very clear and the words should be differentiable from each other.
The REFILLER is located in the nib of the pen and works in the same way as the nib of any fountain pen. Once the ink of this pen gets finished, it can be refilled by dipping the nib of the pen in its ink and thus can be used again.
1-1
Such pens have already been there in the market which were manufactured by an England based company under the name “Smart Pen” but has a lot of drawbacks. But if this pen recorder arrives in the market, it would be first of its kind to have Bluetooth inscribed in it.
The refill of the pen can be changed by the opening provided above the nib section which can be twisted to open and thus the refill could be changed. The main drawback of this pen is that the data sent from it cannot be seen in the hardware that are not compatible with the software of the pen. Also the price and the storage capacity of the pen are issues still under consideration. The developers have also not given any idea about the battery backup of this pen but it has been assured that it would be very satisfactory.
Once this recorder pen comes in the market it can create a huge sensation in the field of SMART PENS.

Visual Sound- A Concept scroll phone for the deaf

The modern world is full of new technologies. New technologies which includes modern gadgets, future technology bikes and cars etc. Every human being is capable of using all these technologies, but modern technology gadgets are not only made for an able person, the technicians are trying to make devices and gadgets for disabled people too. Today, a mobile phone is used by almost every person. It is a device which connects one person to the whole world. It may be very useful, though it is the most important part of an individual. But the main problem which arises is that mobile phones may not be used by deaf and vocally incapacitated people, so technical engineers are trying to make a mobile phone for deaf people, so that they can also use mobile phones and stay connected with the world. Hence they came up with their concept, Visual Sound Device, a mobile phone for hearing impaired users. Visual sound is a phone concept for deaf people and it comes up with transparent touchscreen.
VS1
We don’t give much thought to deaf users about cellphones, but Suhyun Kim, a student from the Pratt Institute has worked hard on this stunning Visual Sound concept, which converts voice to text and vice versa. She wants them to enjoy technology as much as we do. As this phone will act as a voice-to-text converter, so whenever the disable person receives a phone call, the conversation will be transformed into a text which is displayed on the transparent screen. To respond to the call, Visual sound mobile phone concept provided a QWERTY touch board where the disabled can type their thoughts in. This Visual sound device is design with features including two handy pillars that scroll sideways to expose the roll-out display. For communication, the impaired person feeds in the text onto the touchscreen display, which gets converted into voice simulation for the person on the other end of the phone and vice versa. If this Visual Sound concept ever got put into production, many people will try to snag the first one, just because it looks great and it might help a person when someone phoning from noisy locations, as they are prone to do telephone calls from noisy locations. There will arise a problem, that when the normal speaker speaks a lot, because the text on the screen are limited to several hundred words as it was configured. So the time which is required by the impaired person to reply back to the normal recipient is not sufficient. So the normal person has to speak less to overcome this problem. Ultimately the overall drawback that I foresee is the time taken to input the text and converting it to sound. It may block long distance calls, but on the other side it is a form of communication for deaf people which is better than being mum.
VS2
This concept mobile phone sounds a bit time consuming and perhaps a bit frustrating to use, but it allows us an easier conversation than text messaging back and forth. So we can say that it looks dreadfully futuristic and if it’s solving a problem for people who are deaf, then it may be a boon for them.

It is not compulsory to carry it in your pocket or any mobile cover. You can easily carry it anywhere, in any form. It can be rolled easily. You can bend it and also put on your clothes like a clip. It can also make some more form changes that make it more user friendly. The body of this phone turns into the form of an old telephone, when you want to talk on the phone. You can personate these forms and record them, so it gives you best in the way you have chosen. It also has some more functions that creates a feeling of electronic pet. It understand what you want, it senses your moves and according to your needs, it responds you in the best way. It consists of a function called E-motions, which is used in messaging. E-motions means electrical motions that nokia 888 has. By the use of this, you can send or receive forms from/to friends. MOTO 360: Motorola Smartwatch

Smart watches are the current technical trend and a fashion statement. The tool to organize you, keep you updated, apart from being an extension to a smartphone it is also convenient and saves you a lot of battery power. Although the first speculation about these devices were crude, like the limited interface it provides for carrying out the functionality and limited battery power, they proved out be quite otherwise. Currently the smart watches have taken the gadget- market by a storm completely revolutionizing extension gadgets. Many major companies have come up with their own models and prototypes with the latest being the Apple Inc.’s iWatch. In such a scenario no one could have expected Motorola to stay behind in this venture and not be called a company who had nothing to offer. In answer to this, Motorola presents the MOTO 360.
moto-360-smartwatch-580-90
After the much highlighted split of Motorola company in the year 2011, many tech- experts had assumed that it might need some time to stabilize before walking into the arena. But undoubtedly Motorola has made everyone wonder as to not expect so little of it with the release of its latest MOTO X and MOTO 360. The Moto 360 is an Android Wear-based smartwatch announced by Motorola in 2014. It was announced on March 18, 2014 and was released on September 5, 2014 in the United States along with new models of Moto X and Moto G. The Moto 360 is the first smart watch launch to draw a significant crowd. Within just a few hours, the wearable device had already sold out on Motorola’s website, forcing anyone who wasn’t quick on the draw to wait for it to become available at third-party retailers. In contrast to the iWatch which was greatly shadowed by the release of the much awaited iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Most of the conventional smart watches came out with replaceable colorful straps to go with the dress you wear, while MOTO 360 has taken a different route with stainless steel body and straps.
Moto360_1
The Moto 360 holds the distinction of being the first circular Android Wear timepiece and is available in the US starting September 5 for $250. It will be available from early October in the UK for £199 and will come to other parts of the world, including Australia, later this year with local pricing as yet to be determined. It has a look that definitely feels premium: everything about the Moto 360 looks clean and well-made: polished steel, a thin watchband that tucks underneath, and a beautiful set of specially-designed software watch faces. The Moto 360 has a few hardware features that could set it apart besides design: it has inductive charging, which works without any dongle. Yes, you still need the included charging dock to drop the watch into, which still saddles you with an accessory. Still, it’s a lot nicer than most clip-on charging accessories. There’s also an optical heart rate monitor on the watch’s backside. The Moto 360 leans heavily on voice commands, like all Android Wear watches, but Motorola promises an extra dash of natural language processing and noise-cancelling microphone excellence on the Moto 360.

App can change your nail colour in seconds!

Do you want to change your nail paint everyday but don't have enough time or patience? Don't worry, a new app can take care of that.

The new concept puts tiny screens with a wireless connection on each nail, allowing patterns to be instantly changed from an app.

Each nail is a small screen, complete with power source and wireless communication system. Designs are selected via an app, and then synced to the nail.

Users can choose from designer nails, or create their own. An app is used to choose a pattern, which is then sent to the nail, changing it instantly.

The screen has a day's power, and must be recharged overnight.

"'Bloom your nails' is a set of wearable devices. Users can replace the patterns and design via a mobile application," Gin Lee, a Taiwanese student who developed the concept, was quoted as saying.

App can change your nail colour in seconds!
